Mix06 live (7): Bad perspective

I received some comments about my picture of Bill Gates in a previous blog post. Why does he look so weird? Is his head really that small compared to the rest of his body? And what's he doing with his hands?

Well, I must admit: there is some unintended distortion in the picture. I took the picture from a huge videoscreen. The bottom of the screen was closer to me than the top of the screen, so some perspective came into play. And so his legs seem incredibly thick and his head incredibly small.




But you know what? I'll correct it. With Photoshop, everything is possible. So with some skewing and some stretching, we get the Bill Gates as we all know him.



Not quite what it should look like? Oh well, blame it on the champaign from the Tao party. Or on Photoshop... I should have used Microsoft Digital Image Suite!
