New cola flavors
They are not yet available in Belgium, but I bought them in France (only 25 kilomters away): Coca-Cola Blak (available in a bottle-shaped can or in a cylindrical can) and Pepsi Max Cappuccino. Blak has the strong, bitter-aromatic aftertaste of real coffee. Cappuccino has a milder taste, a mix of vanilla and light coffee. According to Wikipedia, Pepsi Max Cappuccino is available in France, Finland, Ireland and Norway. In the UK it is known as Pepsi Max Coffee Cino, in Malaysia as Pepsi Tarik. In some Eastern European and Central American countries you can buy Pepsi Cappuccino, which is probably the non-diet, sugar-containing version.
I also bought Pepsi X Energy Cola. The real stuff in energy drinks, Red Bull, is not available in France because its taurine content. Coca Cola Blak and Pepsi X Energy Cola both have a high caffeine content: 200 mg/l for Coca Cola Blak, 196 mg/l for Pepsi X Energy Cola, twice as much as in the regular cola drinks. Which makes Coca Cola Blak also an "energy drink", I guess.
Last but not least, I also bought "Pepsi Max Citron - Citron Vert". I'm not sure if this is the same as Pepsi Max Cool Lemon, which is available in Belgium, but it seems to be the same as Diet Pepsi Lime in the US.

woensdag, 13 september, 2006 - 23:12We got Coke Blak when we went to Paris and our verdict is: it tastes DISGUSTING (http://titanite.textamerica...). Quite frankly, you can do Coke Blak yourself. Just add cold leftover coffee in Coke and voila, you have Coke Blak. I offered it to a guest and he nearly puked it out. What a lousy way to try to gain back their market share!

woensdag, 26 juli, 2006 - 21:36Unlucky me. I like Coca Cola a lot, in almost every version (with an exception for Light and Cherry), but I can't drink it anymore since my stomach doesn't appreciate it anylonger. Damn stomach ...

donderdag, 20 juli, 2006 - 22:41Now there are all these yells "aspartam(e) kills"... I'm not an expert enough to judge what is true about it.

donderdag, 20 juli, 2006 - 02:22@Tom: Coke Zero does contain aspartam. In Spain, aspartam is called E-591. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

woensdag, 19 juli, 2006 - 15:43Bought in a Supermercado in Cambrils, Spain last week : Coca-Cola "Zero" (white letters on black can). It seems like it was advertised as original flavor but without the sugar (hence the "zero"), and no "aspertam" on the ingredients list.

maandag, 17 juli, 2006 - 08:37For our English readers: the above text is written in south-norwegian, Willem's native language. He talks about his performance in the Tour De France (sponsored by Coca Cola).

zaterdag, 15 juli, 2006 - 20:17I saw the Coca Cola Blak weeks ago in a nightshop in Uccle (and they probably bought it in France, I'm sure)
